$1.1 Million settlement for pedestrian struck while crossing street in crosswalk

Pltf was walking on Martha Street in Hammond, Indiana crossing Kennedy Avenue in the crosswalk. Dft adverse driver is travelling westbound on Martha Street and attempts to turn left onto Kennedy Avenue and strikes Pltf while he was in the crosswalk causing serious bodily injury.
